🚨 A75: One Tiny Step Forward – But We Need So Much More 🚨

After years of campaigning, I welcome the news that average speed cameras are finally being considered for parts of the A75. This is a small but important step toward improving safety on one of Scotland’s most dangerous and neglected roads.

But let’s be clear: this must only be a stopgap.

We need: βœ… A full dualling of the A75
βœ… Increased HGV speed limits to improve traffic flow
βœ… A long-term commitment to modernising this vital route

Lives are at stake. Communities are demanding action. I’ll continue fighting until the A75 is safe, efficient, and fit for the future.
